Spring started early and dry. Therefore on fruit trees and in forests millions and millions of aphids increased. This is perfect food for wasps and hornets - especially wasps. The last ten years there hasn't been such a high population of wasps in Styria, Austria. But what has this to do with vineyards and wine? [...]

A picture is more than thousand words. Everything is fine and healthy. If this year goes on like this it can be a very good vintage. I am looking forward to this! AND - fortunately no hail yet.

The worlcup final is over. Let's keep an eye to the more important things :-) . Especially the vineyard. Watch what is going on in my organic vineyard and... yes there is something ready for harvest... but this is another story.
