Snapshots #6 – Bumblebee nest
This is a post about something you will not find every day - a bumblebee nest. I bet you have not seen anything like that. Recently I found two different nests in the vineyard: one was on the top of the soil in tight grass and the other one under the earth.
Bumblebees are underestimated animals: they work at low temperatures (bees do not) and pollenize lots of plants. They work hard but we do not know much about their way of living. (Funny is that bumblebees do not know that they cannot fly in a physical way. But they can fly).
You can see that lots of animals like organic vineyards for their home.
